Images of The Columbus Library

The Muscogee County Library Foundation celebrates a celebrated author at it's annual black-tie Gala. Last year was a very entertaining Kathryn Stockett (The Help). This upcoming year will be Scott Turow (Presumed Innocent). Can't wait!
This photo session goal: get an image of the Columbus Library for the cover of the gala invitation. The photos were culled down, and then artistic renderings were made from the 2 finalists.

Whitewater Rafting on the Chattahoochee
The Chattahoochee River is being restored to it's natural state, and that means the longest urban whitewater stretch in the United States. What fun it was to be a part of this test run!
The pros love it, too!

Whitewater Columbus will be open some time in 2013. Stay tuned!

National Infantry Museum Coin Launch
February 17, 2012
What a cool thing to be a part of! I loved being with all the press, and getting the 'shots' that we had talked about and hoped for with this event.

A Soldier shows off his coin to family. (Yes, that's an Aflac duck the girls are holding.)
My favorite of all the images captured from this event (above): A soldier lets his son hold the beautiful Infantry Coin.
Congratulations to this Graduating Class of Infantry from Ft. Benning, GA!
